Histola is focused on tissue- and cell-based technologies. Our high-quality service includes histology, immunohistochemistry, in vitro research, and in vitro testing. We are fully compliant with international Good Laboratory Practice standards and certified by the Finnish Medicines Agency FIMEA.
We develop long term partnerships with our clients: all timelines are agreed in advance and regular liaison is maintained with Study Directors. We are experienced in multi-site studies and can provide specific documentation as required. Client QA inspections are always welcome.

Packaging and Storing Histological Samples
- After sampling, soft tissue samples should be fixed in formalin or alcohol (70%) and sent as soon as possible to Histola's laboratory.
- Hard tissue samples should be fixed in formalin.
- Frozen tissues are frozen in liquid nitrogen. Please contact to laboratory for instructions on sending frozen tissue samples.
Samples should be packed carefully in tight and leak proof vials. More information of packaging is available from info(at)histola.com
